Join for this special tour hosted by students and staff at our very own mine in Idaho Springs! This tour covers one-half mile of underground workings representing over 100 years of mine development and generally last one hour. The mine is usually relatively dry and a constant 54 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. Hard hats are provided, but guests are asked to wear warm clothing and sturdy walking shoes. The mine is not wheelchair-accessible. Tours will take place every half hour. Transportation will not be provided. Groups are limited to 5 tickets per group.
